2. General information on data processing
As a rule, we process the personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Each time the site is accessed, the web server automatically records information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is processed to ensure trouble-free operation and to defend against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after 14 days at the latest. A data processing agreement is in place with Hetzner.
4. Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary cookies (session cookie of the content management system, protection against form abuse). No tracking or marketing cookies are set and no analytics services are used.
5. Fonts and external services
All fonts are loaded locally from our own server; no connections are made to Google Fonts or other external services. No third-party map or video services are embedded.
6. Enquiry form, e-mail, phone and WhatsApp
If you contact us via the enquiry form, by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, we process the details you provide (name, contact details, information about your event, message) in order to handle your enquiry and prepare a proposal (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The form data is stored on our server and sent to us by e-mail; your IP address is not stored. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose, and at the latest twelve months after the enquiry has been concluded, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise. To protect against automated submissions, the form uses a local, data-minimising proof-of-work mechanism (ALTCHA) with no third-party involvement. If you contact us via WhatsApp, the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. also applies.
7. Recipients
Your data is passed on to third parties only where this is necessary to carry out your event (e.g. delivery partners) or where we are legally obliged to do so. E-mails from the website are sent via a German hosting provider under a data processing agreement.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.
9. Changes
We will update this privacy policy if the legal situation or our website changes. Last updated: August 2026.
